What's the catch? How does Birthday Sorted make money?
There's no catch. Basic listings are free and always will be, because the guide is only useful to parents if every local venue is on it. To cover costs, we'll offer an optional Featured listing: more visibility for nearby parents, photos, and enquiries sent straight to you. Your free listing stays free, whether or not you ever upgrade.
What do you promise venues?
Basic listings will never become paid. No commission: parents book and pay you directly. Corrections are always free. Featured listings are always labelled, limited to a couple, and only shown near where parents are searching, so free listings aren't buried. We don't sell venue or parent data. And any venue can ask to be removed.
Is the basic listing really free?
Yes, always. A guide is only useful to parents if it includes every local venue, so basic listings will never be charged for.
Do you take a commission on bookings?
No. Parents contact and pay you directly.
My venue is already listed. Can I change it?
Yes. Open your venue's Details and use "Update your listing", or email hello@birthdaysorted.co.uk.
Can I have my listing removed?
Yes, just email us and we'll take it down.
Where do the prices come from?
From your own website or from you, shown in the same terms you use (per child, per group, per hour), with the date they were last checked. You can correct them any time.
